New custom pieces mix with the client’s existing furnishings, rugs, and art work to create an inviting, aged-look living room setting for large group entertaining—including space for live music! Playing off the client’s love of bold jewel tones, an existing sofa was reupholstered in dramatic blue mohair, with throw pillows that echo the room’s other fabrics. A new chair and custom ottoman complement existing wing chairs. Embroidered silk window sheers and striped silk drapes with extra-long fringe create an upscale backdrop for the furnishings and accessories.
