A couple that likes to entertain, the clients wanted sufficient comfortable seating that took advantage of ocean views and left space for a walkway to the kitchen along the back edge of the room. The chosen seating can be combined in a variety of ways to accommodate groups of different sizes. Upholstered chairs swivel for side conversations or to take in the view. Framed fabric backs add interest to floating, wood-trimmed chairs that are easy to move around; their smaller scale is comfortable for smaller people. An eclectic mix of tables creates a collected-over-time look. The client’s existing china cabinet found a cozy new home to display family photos and collected treasures.
